中國進口博覽會為世界上第一個以進口為主題的國家級展會，是由國家主席習近平親自謀劃、親自提出、親自部署、親自推動，是中國著眼推進新一輪高水平對外開放作出的一項重大決策，是中國主動向世界開放市場的重大舉措。4年來，進博會讓展品變商品、讓展商變投資商，交流創意和理念，聯通中國和世界，成為國際采購、投資促進、人文交流、開放合作的重要平臺，成為全球共享的國際公共產品。

As the world's first import-themed national exhibition, 

China International Import Expo (CIIE) was planned, proposed, deployed and promoted by President Xi Jinping in person. It manifests a major decision made by China with a view to promoting a new round of high-level opening up, as well as a major initiative taken by China to open its market to the world. Over the past four years, CIIE has turned exhibits into commodities, exhibitors into investors, being a bridge to exchange ideas and concepts, and connect China and the world.

The 5th China International Import Expo, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, PRC and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, will be held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai) from November 5 to 10, 2022. As a national and strategic platform, CIIE plays an important role in deepening high-level opening, unblocking economic circulation and serving the new development pattern; it can maintain and enhance the organic connection of the world economy and deepen cooperation in global industrial and supply chains. The first to the fourth CIIE has attracted more than 2.8 million visitors, and the cumulative intended turnover reached USD 272.3 billion, equivalent to RMB 1.9 trillion, which is of great significance for stabilizing market expectations and promoting economic growth.

本屆進博會企業商業展共設六大展區，包括食品及農產品展區、汽車展區、技術裝備展區、消費品展區、醫療器械及醫藥保健展區以及服務貿易展區。

There are six exhibition zones for enterprise and business at this year's CIIE, namely the exhibition zone of food and agricultural products, that of automobiles, that of technology and equipment, that of consumer goods, that of medical equipment and medicine and health care, and that of trade in services.
